Check out what you really need and what you want to dispose off before move. For merchandising get the volume as well as variety. Through this you can earn money.
Look for Free Packing Material
There are many places where you can find the free packing material. Check these online. This will help you to save money. Many storage companies are happy to give away the bubble paper and cardboard boxes for free or at very very low cost that will fit into your budget. Check these out in grocery stores and bookstore for sturdy, free or cheap packing stuff.
Avoid Moving Company if You Can
Avoid moving company if it is possible. Try to move own your own. You can have a rental car and move on your own. You can do every work on your own. Although it is quiet tiring but it is worth doing. To handle heavy equipment you might need the help of your friends or special equipment. If you are doing it on your own then you must estimate it with accuracy that how much space your furniture and other such material would require so that you can make the arrangements accordingly.
Set Up a Moving Budget
This is very important to set up a moving budget as then only you will come to now what and where you are spending extra money that would have been saved. This should include moving company fee (if you are hiring), additional insurance, extra services, claims, professional packing, truck rental, insurance, mileage, lodging, meals, pet care and temporary housing.
